The gilded edges on these 50 cards catch the light beautifully during a reading. I didn't expect a restoration of a 15th-century deck to feel this sturdy in hand, but the card stock has a nice weight to it.

I've handled a few modern tarot decks and the card stock here feels noticeably sturdier, closer to a stiff playing card than the flimsy gloss I'm used to. The 50-card structure took a minute to adjust to, but the 15th-century imagery is genuinely unlike anything in my collection.
