妖精：傳說與故事書

I bought this expecting light bedtime reading and instead got stories that genuinely unsettle you in the best way. The folklore here keeps its teeth, and the paper and binding feel sturdy enough to reread for years.

I expected another pretty fairy collection and instead got something that actually made me uneasy — the older, stranger versions where the endings don't resolve neatly. The book itself feels nice too, with a cover that suits the mood.

The stories here are genuinely unsettling, not the Disney version I grew up with, and the writing has this delicate, old-fashioned feel that suits the lore perfectly. I've been reading one tale a night and keep finding ones I'd never heard before.
